Received the following email this week from a nice lady who stumbled on to our website. I forwarded it to the brethren and they asked me to post it here:
OMG I was chasing a rabbit down a hole this morning that started w/ reference to the Arctic Brotherhood in our book club’s reading of Love and Other Consolation Prizes. As I was facilitating the discussion of this book, I was curious as to how much of this historical fiction book was historical. Spending 35 years living and exploring in Alaska, mostly off-grid, as soon as your website opened I recognized the AB building in Skagway and sensed an Alaska connection. Your website is Yukon gold. Thank you so much. I’m headed to Katmai in June, can relate to pics of Denali, Chilkoot Trail, and even Lower 48 national parks. Surely Lake Clark will not be your last adventure—forget the day you were born! Well, I know what I’m doing for the rest of the day . . . clicking on every single one of your pages! Carry on, living and loving what’s around the bend!
